John R. Mayhew is a full-time Professional Mediator, who offers over thirty years of strong negotiation, communication, and listening skills.  He is a problem solver and creative deal maker who thinks outside the box.  He creates a comfortable atmosphere that fosters the exchange of ideas between disputing parties to reach an agreeable resolution.

Mr. Mayhew is the founder and CEO of Mayhew Mediations and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and County Civil Mediator.  His years of diverse business experience and expertise brings to the mediation process an acute understanding of issues, concerns, and varied personalities of the parties involved.  His patient, non-judgmental, ethical approach to resolving conflicts helps clients and their attorneys avoid costly, time-consuming, and stress of going before a judge or jury.

Mr. Mayhew was born and raised in Annapolis, MD.  He holds three academic degrees including an MBA from the University of Miami.  He is a proud member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, a member of the Greater Tampa Realtors Association, Florida Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the Florida Notary Association, and a Leadership Brandon Alumni.

Mr. Mayhew moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1984.  He is married with a daughter, granddaughter, and dachshund named Bella.  He loves adventure, travel, kayaking, camping, bicycling, golf, reading, and quality family time.
